IMS requires that the interim executives and independent consultants in our Executive Network always provide their services through a limited company. If you do not have one this can be acquired for approximately £100 from a company formation agent.
You can handle the registration yourself, but it is a good idea to seek professional advice from a company formation agent, accountant or solicitor.
If you propose to join one of the 'Umbrella Companies' you should be aware that a number of these companies are structured in such a way that precludes them entering into our form of contract on your behalf. You will need to check this with them and us as our form of contract with your limited company has to be back-to-back with our contract with the client.
